GenQuery is a historical and genealogical research firm located in Northern Virginia, with access to some of the largest research facilities in the world. Katie Quick Derby, Owner Katie Derby holds a B.A. in Family History/Genealogy from Brigham Young University.  She interned at the Library of Congress in the Local History/Genealogy Reading Room.  A professional Genealogist and lecturer. Katie has presented at several regional and national level Genealogy conferences, and has done private client research for many years.  She is the past Director of the Culpeper Family History Center, and is currently an adjunct faculty instructor for BYU-Idaho in the Family History/ Genealogy department where she trains others in advanced historical research techniques.
